More, More, More!

As I look at why people write blogs, I find myself enjoying this one far too much! Sometimes when you have too much to think about, putting it somewhere, and somewhere you can share it, makes the thinking part easier:

I sometimes find, and I am sure you know the feeling, that I simply have too many thoughts and memories crammed into my mind.... At these times... I use the Pensieve. One simply siphons the excess thoughts from one's mind, pours them into the basin, and examines them at one's leisure"

I find myself turning to my comfort blanket often when I am here. Sometimes, when you just need a jolt of happiness, or a reminder that somethings always stay the same, you return to an object, or an idea. This for me, of course, is Harry Potter. Movies, books, music--all of these do wonders for me when I am feeling down or lost in this new country! But as always, sometimes it's just as fun to return to reality then it is to escape from it. And of course, Goblet of Fire is the best.

Differences of habit and language are nothing at all if our aims are identical and our hearts are open (J.K. Rowling, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire).
